Karoly Borbely graduated Dimitrie Cantemir University in Bucharest and he also holds a diploma
in tourism management and a master degree in Public politics and European Integration. Between
2002 and 2005 he was regional representative in Hunedoara, Cluj- Napoca, Alba –Iulia within
Hungarian Society of Public Interest for Promoting Investments and Commerce. Between 2000
and 2002 he worked as a referent within democratic Hungarian Union from Romania. In this
period he was also consultant / adviser at Winkler Iuliu deputy from Hunedoara. At present Karoly
Borbely is state secretary and president of National Youth Authority.
