Key Qualification: Qazi Azmat Isa has a passionate commitment to improve the lives of poor and marginalized people: This commitment is tempered by a healthy pragmatism which emanates from a diverse and cross-sectoral work experience and having had close contacts with government (federal and provincial) ngo's, donors, (multilateral and bilateral) and communities. This background has provided Qazi Azmat Isa with a deep insight of the issues in development and has enabled him wherever he has worked to forge genuine partnerships between all the key players in the development process. At present, he is Senior Community Development Specialist at the World Bank in Islamabad. Prior to this, within the same subsidiary, he has activated as National Country Officer with UNDP/World Bank Water and Sanitation Program, and afterwards as Project Advisor. Before taking the position he is currently holding, he has been the CE of Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP). Nonetheless, his area of interests has also covered service in voluntary capacity, since Qazi Azmat Isa is also Chairman of the Society for the Protection of Child Rights (SPARC) and Board Member with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Aurat Foundation and LEAD. |
