Bianca Vlaston worked mostly in Internet services industry. In 2004 she joined the team that
developed EurActiv.ro, part of the cross lingual network EurActiv, based in Brussels, the portal for
promoting and informing on EU policies and EU affairs. The portal was developed by an NGO, and
she promoted it as a CSR project for those companies who wanted to help provide information to
the Romanian public about EU accession and integration. Many companies supported their efforts:
Microsoft, Allianz – Tiriac, Chamber of Commerce, Lafarge, Orange, Oracle, Michelin, etc.
